The Role

As Site Hygiene Manager - Nights, you will lead and manage all night shift hygiene operations across a high-care food manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, food safety and compliance are maintained during critical cleaning and sanitation activities. You will lead large hygiene teams, deliver hygiene excellence, support audit readiness, and drive continuous improvement to ensure the site is fully prepared for daily production.

What you’ll be doing as a Site Hygiene Manager - Nights

  • Lead and manage all night shift hygiene operations across the site
  • Oversee, develop and motivate a large hygiene team, including supervisors and team leaders
  • Ensure all cleaning and sanitation activities are completed safely, effectively and to schedule
  • Maintain full compliance with retailer, food safety and regulatory standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in hygiene systems, methods and site standards
  • Lead hygiene verification activities and ensure the site is production-ready each morning
  • Support audit preparation and maintain audit-ready standards at all times
  • Work closely with Production, Technical and Engineering teams to deliver operational excellence

What we are looking for in a Site Hygiene Manager - Nights

  • Proven hygiene leadership experience within a high-care food manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene management systems and retail customer standards
  • Experience leading large operational teams on nights within a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • HACCP qualified with a minimum Food Safety Level 3 certification and strong COSHH knowledge
  • Experience managing hygiene audits and delivering compliance against customer and regulatory requirements
  • A hands-on leader with a track record of driving standards, accountability and continuous improvement
