About the Role

The Shift Manager (Nights) will lead a team across four assembly lines in the high-care area responsible for ready-made and cooked meals.

You will be at the heart of overnight production, ensuring operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a visible leadership role that plays a vital part in maintaining product quality, output, and team performance throughout the night shift. This role is ideal for someone looking to step into a leadership position and make a real impact in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of approx. 40 across four production lines during night shifts
• Drive operational performance against key metrics including productivity, waste, hygiene, and compliance
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to develop frontline staff
• Collaborate with other Shift Managers and Operations teams to ensure seamless shift transitions

This role is ideal for a motivated, hands-on leader who thrives in high-pressure environments and has a proven ability to manage people and processes effectively.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Right attitude and mindset for leadership
• Reliable, punctual, and self-driven
• Strong people management and communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure settings
• Willingness to train and develop others

Desirable:

• Previous experience in FMCG, food production, or manufacturing
• Leadership experience in a high-care or hygiene-focused environment
