About the role
Due to the continued success of the site, we have a new opportunity for a Process Technologist to join our Technical team here at 2 Sisters Food Group Scunthorpe. Working closely with the Process Manager, you will have the autonomy to develop and implement real change within the factory, undertaking duties such as supporting with the successful launch of new products and developing quality attribute sheets that will be used site wide. With training and support you will produce internal specifications and compile trial reports which will shape the direction of our New Product Development. This is not just a job; it is the chance to have a significant impact on the future success of the business.
About the team
Here at 2 Sisters Food Group Scunthorpe, we put food safety and our customers at the heart of everything that we do, and we are invested in developing a successful, happy and productive team. Whilst the overall team is large, you will work closely with a smaller team of colleagues including the Process Manager and the Compliance team to achieve business success, becoming an integral part of our service delivery, pushing for the continual growth of the business.
About You
Whilst previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, this is not a requirement of the role as all training will be provided. You will need to:
- Be able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels and elevate any issues
- Have a good level of written English with the ability to accurately record data
- Have good level of computer skills, being able to proficiently operate Microsoft Suites
- Be able to work under your own initiative
- Be able to follow recipes
- Have a good knowledge of food safety and hygiene are advantageous
- Possessing Food Safety Level 3 is desirable
- Previous experience within product development, a similar role or the food industry would be advantageous
