As a Multi Skilled Engineer at our Scunthorpe site, you will be working on a range of food processing and packaging equipment. Part of a large 80 strong engineering team, you'll be joining a team of engineers on shift to respond to breakdowns, carry out planned maintenance and complete rectification work with the aim to minimise equipment downtime and maximise the condition and lifespan of equipment. We are a fast-moving business so you need to enjoy working at pace and have dedication to take action and achieve results.
Required Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in either a mechanical or electrical discipline
- Experienced in fault finding and repairs on either mechanical or electrical systems
- Previous on the job experience working in an engineering position
- Strong problem solving skills
Desired:
- Proficient in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Apprentice trained
- Previous experience within the food industry
- 17th Edition or 18th Edition Electrically competent
- Boiler management - SOBA / BOAS desirable
- SIGMA / 5S knowledge desirable
- IOSH trained
- Understanding of Root Cause Analysis techniques; fix the cause not the symptom

Work Schedule:
This post is working a 4 on 4 off, 12 hour days and nights shift pattern (0700-1900/1900-0700) - 2 days 2 nights.
Pay & Leave:
The rate of pay is £22.55 per hour with 20 days annual leave.
