2 Sisters Food Group in Scunthorpe is looking for a First Line Manager to cover Maternity Leave within our portions department (A shift) on a Temporary Contract for up to 12 months. This role attracts a pay rate of £17.00ph.
About The Role
Reporting to the Shift Manager, as a First Line Manager you will have 4 direct reports (Team Leaders) and approximately 40 indirect reports. You will take ownership of production line output across various lines in the cutting operation, ensuring each line operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and develop your team to meet daily KPIs and customer expectations.
- Always ensure adherence to World Class Manufacturing Practices and quality standards.
- Maintain strong line discipline and follow specific packing and production plans – no overpacking, no deviations.
- Drive productivity and morale while maintaining staff welfare and safety.
- Take ownership of the training, coaching, and development of your team.

About You
It’s essential that you have experience in an FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment along with demonstrable experience of leading and motivating a team.
