About the role
Working closely with the Despatch Manager, you will become an integral part of the despatch team, ensuring that the site remains legislatively and contractually compliant. You will ensure adherence to the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and Ethical Trading Initiative by properly managing holiday requests and time and attendance sheets, balancing the needs of the Despatch Operatives with the production targets. You will complete daily reports and be able to notice and flag any issues to your manager, ensuring issues do not escape, helping to ensure we meet the expectations as set out by our customers.
About the team
Whilst the immediate team you will be working with is small, you will be a part of the wider Despatch function, allowing you to build the knowledge and relationships required to grow here at 2 Sisters Food Group. You will be closely supported by the Despatch Manager and will have multiple opportunities to develop and attend training.
About You
Whilst previous experience in a similar position would be beneficial, this is not a requirement of the role as all training will be provided. You will need to:
- Be able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels to be able to elevate any issues
- Have a good level of written English with the ability to accurately record data
- Have a good level of attention to detail and be able to manage your own time
- Have a good level of understanding of Microsoft Suites
- Be able to collate data and analyse the results
