Overview
As a Quality System Monitor in our technical department your key responsibilities will be:
- Monitor the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems across the factory to ensure continuous operational and technical integrity.
- Identify and report any areas of non-conformity, ensuring affected food products are quarantined appropriately and only released once compliance is confirmed.
- Conduct label and traceability verification checks to ensure accuracy and full product compliance with legal and customer standards.
- Monitor and record product temperatures as part of routine quality assurance procedures.
- Verify scales and weights to maintain consistency with both regulatory standards and customer specifications.
- Perform regular metal detection verification to uphold product safety and prevent contamination.
- Carry out quality control checks to ensure finished products meet both customer requirements and internal quality benchmarks.
- Provide support for additional verification and compliance activities across all stages of production and packaging, as required.

- Location: Willand, Devon (permanent opportunities to join our technical team)
- Shift patterns available:
- Shift option 1 – 5:30am – 2:30pm (Monday to Friday with an early finish of 1:30pm on Tuesday)
- Shift option 2 – 5:00am – 3:15pm (3 weekly rotating shift pattern)
- Shift option 3 – 3:30pm – 0:00am (Monday to Friday)
- Rate of pay: £12.56 per hour, opportunities for overtime at a premium rate
