Loading the cooking vessel with the raw materials at the relevant stages throughout the cook. Ensure the CCP cook procedure are met and the relevant end of cook quality tests are carried out, reporting anything out of specification to the Area Leader and Quality team.
As a Cooking Operative you will be responsible for performing tasks that require attention to detail, manual dexterity and physical stamina. Previous experience in food production or a similar environment is preferred. Good communication and problem solving skills. Able to use own initiative. Basic English and Maths skills. Knowledge of computers would be an advantage.
The shift pattern is two days (06:00-18:00), two nights (18:00-06:00) with four days off.
- Overtime at 1.33% after completion of rostered hours for the week
- An additional 50p per hour between 10pm-6am
