About the Role
The Process Technologist is responsible for managing the transition of concept-approved products into full-scale production. Working with a variety of cuisines, the role ensures customer requirements, product specifications, and food safety standards are met. You'll play a key role in factory trials, pre-production activities, and launches, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality results. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract for maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage factory trials, ensuring technical, safety, and legal compliance
- Lead pre-production and product launches to ensure smooth transitions to production
- Oversee customer quality panels, approvals, and quality contracts
- Collaborate on New Product Development (NPD), Existing Product Development (EPD), and Value Optimisation (VO) initiatives
- Balance factory work, administrative tasks, and sample preparation
