We currently have exciting opportunities for the Planner - Administrator to join the team in West Bromwich site D.

The hours of work and shift patterns are: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00

Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to cover early or late shifts to support other planners when needed.

Occasional weekend work may also be required to ensure full team coverage.

As a Planner-Administrator, your role will be critical in ensuring smooth production coordination on-site. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the flow of work and materials across departments to ensure production remains on time and in line with our customer's orders.
  • Creating the daily schedule for multiple production plans within the factory.
  • Producing daily reports and KPI metrics data.
  • Performing general office administration tasks such as letter/report writing, photocopying, faxing, and filing.
  • Providing and publishing data and detailed reports from production to senior management, including the amount produced/cut versus plan.
  • Ensuring customer orders are completed on time, and any shorts, stock issues, or breakdowns are communicated immediately to the Head of Supply Chain.
  • Working closely with operations, dispatch, security, and the transport team to ensure that the vehicle or equipment plans are on track.
  • Setting up and managing the SKUs and orders on Hellenic/Navision.
  • Developing and maintaining smooth internal and external relationships to facilitate optimal performance.
  • Ensuring any changes to orders are communicated immediately to key stakeholders.

Your attention to detail, ability to multitask, and effective communication skills will be essential in fulfilling these responsibilities.

Qualifications

The ideal Planner-Administrator would have strong communication skills and would be confident liaising with various departments across the organisation.

You will be a logical thinker with strong numerical and analytical skills and the ability to understand how new developments can impact production plans.

You will have the following qualifications, knowledge, and skills

  • Excellent MS Excel skills and will have experience creating, maintaining and updating spreadsheets.
  • Minimum one year experience using Excel to managing Excel workbooks and data and formatting
  • Knowledge and understanding of operations, operational plans and supply chain
  • Ability to work closely with business support functions, such as Operations, Planning, Stores, Technical, Engineering, HR, etc.
  • Capability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with various workstreams to deliver on projects and site objectives.
  • Ability to identify problems that may impact production, finding the root cause and a solution.
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure daily objectives are met, in line with expectations.
