About the Role
We’re looking for an agile, driven Commercial Manager to take full ownership of the Turkey and seasonal added‑value categories for our M&S account. This is a fast‑paced, high‑visibility role that will require regular site presence (particularly in Norfolk) and close collaboration with both internal teams and the customer.
This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a dynamic role where you’ll manage a high‑profile category, drive commercial strategy, and influence key decisions across a complex supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day‑to‑day commercial management of the Turkey and seasonal categories for M&S
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the M&S commercial and technical teams
• Lead cost negotiations, pricing agreements, and commercial forecasting
• Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of product launches and seasonal packaging changes
• Align cross‑functional teams (NPD, supply chain, operations) to deliver against customer and business objectives
• Lead seasonal planning and forecasting to ensure full alignment across the supply base
• Provide regular reporting, insight, and strategic input into the category and customer performance

About You

You\’re an experienced Commercial Manager ideally with a background in Meat, Fish, Poultry, or wider FMCG categories. You thrive in a fast‑moving environment, enjoy managing high‑impact accounts, and have the commercial acumen to drive profitability and growth. Ideally, you’ll have experience working with M&S, or other major UK grocery retailers, and be comfortable influencing both internal stakeholders and external partners.

• Commercial experience within FMCG
• Customer‑facing experience with major UK retailers (M&S experience highly desirable)
• Strong commercial negotiation and financial acumen
• Effective stakeholder and cross‑functional team managementHighly organised, detail‑oriented, and resilient under pressure
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
