About the Role
As a logistics administrator within our UK Poultry division, you will be accountable for analysing stock holdings, arranging weekly export schedules, minimising supply chain cost whilst maintaining a reduced stock holding.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage incoming orders from the commercial team with efficiency and accuracy.
Take responsibility for ordering and maintaining the scheduling tracker to ensure smooth operations.
Use the tracker to liaise with customers and coordinate with the logistics team to fulfil orders promptly and effectively.
Undertake daily tasks such as managing customer emails, updating the order tracker, and communicating with logistics providers via email to ensure timely deliveries.
About You
Previous experience as a Logistics/Supply Chain Administrator, with a proven track record in the manufacturing or food industry.
Highly driven and motivated, with a strong desire to work in the fast-paced FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector.
Key Skills
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook, including the ability to use formulas and create pivot tables.
At least 3 years of experience in logistics and planning, with a focus on third-party suppliers and freight forwarding.
Solid experience in supply chain and logistics, ideally within the FMCG sector.
Prior experience in the supply chain and FMCG industries is essential.
The role is based at our site UK Poultry Amber site at West Bromwich. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.
