The Role

You will provide leadership across engineering operations, overseeing both the Maintenance Manager and Improvement Manager, while ensuring the site is prepared for ongoing change, investment projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role is heavily focused on operational leadership, engineering planning, maintenance strategy, and change implementation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all engineering operations across the site
  • Managing daily Tier 2 engineering meetings and resource planning activities
  • Driving engineering performance across a 6-day operating pattern, including planned Wednesday shutdown maintenance
  • Leading planned and preventative maintenance strategy
  • Supporting engineering projects, equipment upgrades, and the removal of obsolete machinery and systems
  • Delivering continuous improvement and operational change initiatives
  • Ensuring engineering priorities align with production and operational requirements
  • Developing engineering capability, structure, and performance across the department
