2 Sisters Thetford is a food manufacturing business. We have an opportunity for a Factory Handyperson / Building Services Operative / Building Maintenance Person to join the engineering team. The role helps improve building fabrication both internally and externally and assists with general maintenance jobs.
Fixed term contract: 3 months.
Hours & Pay: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, £17.24 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Assist in general building maintenance and repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Fixing lockers
- General building improvement
- Support the building services team
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a handyperson, tradesperson or within building services
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
- Basic understanding of electrical, woodworking, plumbing systems
- Good communication ability
- Well-organised and adept in problem-solving
- Attention to detail
- Experience in the food or manufacturing sector would be beneficial
