The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will play a key role in achieving shift and site KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) by working with your team and other departments. Developing a culture of continuous improvement by using Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Responsibilities
- You will lead and manage the production area in successfully meeting OEE (Operational Equipment Effectiveness), quality, people and plan attainment by:
- Co-ordinating team activities through set-ups and changeovers
- Sharing and communicating shift information, including departmental huddles and in meetings
- Guiding your team in all aspects of the work, providing training and assistance where necessary
- Fostering an atmosphere of safety, collaboration, discipline and respect
- Developing and ensuring compliance to SOP's for process related tasks
- Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and lean tools
- Previous experience of leading a team
- Numerical ability to record, analyse and interpret data
- Ability to inspire, motivate and coach others
- Ability to work towards Food Safety Level 3 and IOSH
