This is a fantastic opportunity for a Hygiene Operative to join our Recipe Dish site in Grimsby. This site is currently turning over £35 Million, with a headcount of around 250 which can flex during peak periods. We are the sole supplier of fresh chilled Soups and Pasta Sauces for M&S, meeting the highest standard of food production.

As a Hygiene Operative, you will play an important role for 2 Sisters Grimsby, working within the Hygiene Department and ensuring that all machines and the building meet strict high standards of hygiene at all times.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks.
  • Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet high standards.
  • Deep cleaning of production areas.
  • Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly.
  • Ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed.
  • Making sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health and Safety and Hygiene.
  • Working effectively under pressure of time.
  • Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to the Hygiene Supervisor/Manager.
  • Being trained in COSHH and experience of cleaning with chemical (training will be given).

Ideal Candidate:

Ideally you will have some experience of working as a Hygiene Operative; however training will be provided. The role is ideal for someone with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative. Your communication skills will also need to be good to understand cleaning requirements and report any issues as they arise in a clear manner.

Package Description:

  • Overtime at 1.33% after completion of rostered hours for the week.
  • An additional 50p per hour between 10pm-6am.
  • A structured training programme for all roles.
