We currently have exciting opportunities for Production Operative's to join the Amber team in West Bromwichon a fixed‑term contract of 3 months.

  • The hours of work and shift patterns are: Mon‑Friday 05:45 till 13:45
  • The rates of pay are: £12.75
  • Main Responsibilities

The General Operative will be responsible for

  • Correctly and effectively carry out the required functions, once trained to do so, in the cutting hall
  • General operative duties on the line as required
  • Ensure that all areas of training in basic food hygiene, health and safety and product quality are adhered to
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation during working hours
  • Produce each product to specification
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards in accordance with Company Policy and all relevant legislative documentation – actively encouraging health and safety awareness with other operatives and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ensure work practices minimise the risk of product contamination.

  • Good spoken English is essential
  • To meet targets set by management and the customer, i. e. productivity, quality hygiene and waste.
  • To work as part of a team and effectively communicate with all colleagues and Management staff
  • Meet all customer requirements & meet standards expected

  • Able to maintain high personal standards
  • Comfortable working in a pressurised environment and able to meet tight deadlines
