Here at 2 Sisters we are looking for an Effluent Operator to work within our Engineering Department. The rate of pay as an Effluent Operator is £15.82. The shift pattern is rotating hours, Monday - Friday alternate hours 06:00am - 14:00pm & 14:00pm - 22:00pm. You will be required to work every third weekend 06:00am - 12:00pm and an evening call out.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure that the effluent plant is always in compliance with Environment Agency discharge consents.
- Ensure that breaches of consents are immediately reported to management.
- Day to day running of the effluent plant.
- Daily testing of effluent discharge.
- Maintain accurate records of test results.
- Emptying interceptor pits.
- Clear blocked drains in the factory.
