We're looking for an NPD Technologist to support the delivery of exciting bakery innovations at Gunstone's Bakery. You'll help move products from concept to customer, supporting trials, samples, benchmarking and key development activity. This is a hands‐on role in a fast‐paced environment, ideal for someone who loves food, detail and teamwork.
- Plan and manage ingredients, packaging and time to deliver concept samples to quality and deadline
- Coordinate day‐to‐day activity within the development kitchen, prioritising NPD and EPD workload
- Source raw materials and packaging, working with Procurement and Technical teams
- Prepare customer review documentation including ingredients, allergen, nutrition and packaging details
- Support trials, launches and key milestones to keep projects on track
You're a recent Food Science graduate with strong organisation skills and great attention to detail. You're confident working with data and systems, proactive in your approach and always focused on delivering products that delight customers and perform commercially.
- Degree (or equivalent) in food science or a related discipline
- Strong interest in food trends, products and competitors
- Placement within food manufacturing
- Confident IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) with good numeracy
- Strong communication, organisation and report‐writing skills
