About the Role: As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining site operations by overseeing engineering and maintenance repairs, handling breakdowns, and executing planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Engineering and Maintenance repairs on-site, largely for Production Machinery and some building repairs.
- Fixing rollers, small gearboxes, and small motors, as well as hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Supporting the team with machinery breakdowns as needed and contributing to some maintenance planning.
- Ensuring smooth operations across the site as part of a wider maintenance team.
About You: This position is ideal for a candidate with hands-on Mechanical experience, who is looking for a fantastic career opportunity within an industry-leading organisation, widely known for internal opportunities for both technical and career ladder progression. Key Skills or Qualifications:
- Time-Served Apprenticeship in Mechanical Maintenance or relevant discipline, or NVQ 3 as a minimum with related industry experience.
- Desirable: Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, or fast-moving production machinery.
