We have a number of opportunities available in our factory in Willand, Devon, which has been continually processing for over 100 years.
The working hours for this position are:
- AM: 05:00am - 15:15pm
- PM: 15:30pm - 00:00am
The rate of pay for the Trussing Operative role is £12.56. The hours of work for this role are based on a 3 weekly rota:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
- Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
Main Responsibilities:
- Trussing whole birds to the required speed
- Lining baskets
- Helping with the other lines in the Production area
- Working to the high standards required for our customers
- Working to high standards in Food Safety and Health and Safety
- Working with a multi-cultural team of enthusiastic employees
Ideal Candidate:
We will provide full training in terms of Food Safety, Quality, Health and Safety and how to be a Trussing Operative. We will teach you the differences in customer requirements. No experience will be required, just come with a 'Can do' attitude.
