About the Role
Our Coupar Angus site has an excellent track record of promoting internally as well as offering personal development through training courses. Making this an excellent opportunity to progress your career. Our UK Poultry division produces a third of all poultry eaten in the UK and represents more than half of 2 Sisters' business by sales. The division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.
We’re looking for a Production Planner to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You’ll play a key role in driving efficiency, ensuring optimal production schedules, and balancing demand with supply across a 7-day operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain efficient short- and medium-term production plans
- Monitor production performance and adjust schedules to meet targets
- Identify and resolve planning issues proactively
- Analyse data to drive continuous improvement in planning processes
- Support in managing inventory levels to meet demand while reducing waste
- Lead and manage 3 x Production Planners
About You
You’ll be a highly organised and analytical individual with a strong background in production planning within a food manufacturing environment. You’re comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced setting and confident communicating across all levels of the business.
