About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic Continuous Improvement Lead to take the reins of all continuous improvement initiatives across our food manufacturing site. This is a golden opportunity for someone ready to step into a role where the groundwork has already been laid by expert consultants who have gathered a wealth of actionable data. You'll lead cross-functional projects spanning labour variance, cost control, waste reduction, material efficiency, and line balance. Working closely with department leads and data teams, you'll drive operational excellence by identifying opportunities and implementing meaningful change. This is a high-impact position where your leadership and problem-solving skills will directly influence site-wide performance and continuous improvement culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all CI projects across the site, building on the work delivered by previous consultants
  • Collaborate across departments to identify, scope, and implement improvements in labour control, material costs, line balancing, and waste reduction
  • Use data-driven insights to create actionable plans and highlight performance improvement opportunities
  • Build strong working relationships across departments to ensure engagement and collaboration
  • Drive cultural change by promoting CI methodology and ensuring teams are aligned and empowered to deliver improvements

About You

You're an experienced CI professional with a strong background in manufacturing or FMCG environments. You thrive on turning data into strategy and strategy into results. You're skilled at influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders to drive change, even in the face of resistance. You're proactive, organised, and passionate about continuous improvement.
