About the Role
2 Sisters Food Group is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, ethics and compliance. As the Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring good governance and will have primary responsibility for overseeing and managing our compliance program.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage the company’s compliance program
- Draft, modify and implement company policies
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management and staff on compliance related matters, including new and emerging regulations
- Co-ordinate and deliver communication and training programs to enhance understanding of policies and procedures and embed a robust compliance culture
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the compliance program and prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies where required
About You
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in legal or compliance/governance roles within large organisations, with a solid understanding of best practice corporate governance and relevant laws, including Data Protection.
Key Skills
- Prior experience in either legal or compliance/governance for a large organisation
- Experienced in creating and rolling out policy communication and training plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pro-active and a “can-do” attitude
The role is based at our Head Office in Birmingham, with an expectation to be on-site 2-3 days per week.
