About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and curious Category & Insight Executive to join our UK Poultry team - an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in category management and consumer insights within food manufacturing. You'll gain hands-on experience across both customer-facing category work - visiting stores and monitoring new product launches - and insight work, analysing consumer panels and data sources to uncover what drives shopper choice. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Insight Manager with consumer data collection, surveys, polls, and message boards from our panel of consumers
- Analyse data from retailer sources to identify trends in volume, value, and shopper behaviour
- Support the Category team by visiting stores, monitoring new product launches, and tracking competitor activity
- Spot emerging food trends, particularly across social media and digital platforms, and share insights with the wider team
- Prepare reports and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint to share insights with key stakeholders across Sales, NPD, and Commercial teams
About You
You'll be naturally inquisitive, data-driven, and passionate about understanding what makes consumers tick. You'll have a great eye for detail, an interest in the food industry, and a strong desire to learn and grow within category and insight management. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys analysing data, spotting trends, and bringing insights to life in a commercial setting.
