About the role:
We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Category Executive to join our Commercial Team, supporting a key growth area of the business while our current team lead is on maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in retail, data, and commercial strategy, with a clear progression path towards a Category Manager role.
You’ll play a hands-on role supporting category management through insightful data analysis, store audits, and preparation for key client meetings. Working closely with teams across Commercial and NPD, you’ll gain invaluable experience across pricing, promotions, and market trends - all while developing client-facing skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support management with data and insights for client meetings
- Collaborate with Commercial and New Product Development (NPD) teams
- Assist with store audits, pricing analysis, and promotional planning
- Create and manage Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
- Conduct in-store checks at major retailers including M&S, Asda, and Sainsbury's
- Travel to store locations 1-2 times per month
About You:
- Experienced in using Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Confident working independently and remotely, with initiative to grow into a client-facing role
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (required)
- Familiarity with Kantar or similar databases is a plus
