About the Role
We are looking for a commercially focused and resilient Deputy Head of Finance to join our fast-paced manufacturing environment at 2 Sisters Food Group. This is a key leadership role within the finance function, supporting operational and strategic decision-making across site performance. Working closely with both the Head of Finance and Site Director, you will play a critical role in driving financial control, improving performance, and supporting the wider leadership team in a high-pressure FMCG manufacturing environment. This role would suit an experienced finance professional who understands the realities of large-scale manufacturing - where operational challenges can directly impact weekly P&L performance and where agility, commercial awareness, and strong leadership are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Finance in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Partner with operational teams to drive performance and cost control across the site.
- Assist with strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Provide clear financial insight to support operational decision-making.
- Lead, manage, and develop members of the finance team.
- Prioritise workload effectively within a fast-moving FMCG environment.
- Present financial information confidently to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations.
About You
- Fully qualified accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong strategic planning and commercial finance experience.
- Confident presenter with the ability to influence and collaborate across wider business teams.
- Demonstrated people management experience, including delegation and workload prioritisation.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure operational environment.
