About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Logistics Manager to join our central Logistics and Operations team. This is a senior role with responsibility for 8 direct reports and oversight of logistics operations across 24 sites. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a new network change programme, shaping and implementing logistical strategy across the region, and leading medium- and long-term operational initiatives. Working closely with Group Directors and Managing Directors, you will ensure that logistics performance aligns with wider business objectives while driving efficiency, service excellence, and cost optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a major network change programme across multiple sites
- Provide leadership to a team of 8 direct reports, fostering high performance and accountability
- Manage and control a logistics budget of £160m, ensuring commercial rigour and value delivery
- Oversee and optimise relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, including full contract management
- Drive capacity planning and resource optimisation across the network
- Lead medium- and long-term operational improvement initiatives
About You
You are a senior logistics and operations leader with a proven track record of delivering results in complex, fast-paced, multi-site environments. You bring strategic thinking alongside strong commercial acumen and thrive on driving change at scale. Ideally, you will have experience within food manufacturing or a manufacturing/production environment, where operational precision and efficiency are critical. You are confident influencing at executive level and capable of leading large-scale transformation programmes.
