About the Role
We're looking for a commercially focused Commercial Finance Business Partnerto support some of our key retail accounts, including Co-op and a portfolio of speciality customers such as Costco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons.
This is a highly visible business partnering role where you'll work closely with Commercial, Operations and Finance teams to drive profitability, provide commercial insight and support strategic decision-making.
You'll also lead and develop a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, helping to deliver accurate reporting and meaningful financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Business partner with Commercial teams across Co-op and other speciality retail accounts.
- Lead weekly and monthly financial reporting, delivering clear insight into business performance.
- Lead financial analysis for speciality product ranges, including corn-fed, organic and free-range products, identifying commercial opportunities and areas for growth.
- Own post-investment reviews, evaluating the success of promotions, product launches and commercial initiatives.
- Support new product development through financial modelling, costing and performance tracking.
- Produce accurate forecasts and analyse product performance against expectations.
- Provide commercial challenge and financial insight to influence key business decisions.
About You
- Previous experience in a Commercial Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Manager or Senior Commercial Finance role.
- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a retailer-facing commercial finance environment.
- Strong forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis skills.
- Experience supporting product launches, costing, promotions and post-investment reviews.
- The ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear commercial recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.
