The Role

You will be working closely with both finance and operational teams, you'll provide accurate financial reporting, analyse business performance, and help drive profitability through insightful analysis and robust financial governance.

Overview

  • Producing accurate weekly financial reporting to support business performance and decision-making.
  • Completing month-end reconciliations and delivering timely financial reporting.
  • Providing financial support and analysis for key customer accounts.
  • Analysing, understanding, and challenging variances against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Managing product costing processes, ensuring strong governance and supporting the financial evaluation of new product launches.
  • Partnering closely with commercial teams across multiple business sites to provide financial insight and support strategic decisions.
  • Developing a strong understanding of operational performance and its financial impact, helping to drive continuous improvement and profitability.

What We’re Looking For

  • Commercially focused with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of financial data and turning it into actionable insights.
  • Confident building relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive, curious, and keen to challenge and improve existing processes.
  • Ideally studying towards, or qualified in, a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), although relevant experience will also be considered.
