We operate across poultry, chilled and bakery categories, supplying high-quality products to major UK retailers and foodservice customers.
At Site B, we play a key role within the Group's poultry division, delivering fresh and frozen products to both domestic and export markets.
We are seeking a high-calibre Commercial Manager to join our team at Site B. This is a senior commercial position with full ownership of poultry export sales, including edible products, by-products, and frozen and fresh turkey lines.
You will be responsible for managing high-value, high-volume B2B accounts across established UK and international markets, delivering budgeted sales performance while identifying opportunities for growth and diversification. Working closely with operational, supply chain and finance teams, you will take full commercial accountability for pricing, margins, KPIs, forecasting, and customer performance.
This role is offered as an 18-month maternity cover contract, with potential for permanency.
- Full responsibility for export sales across poultry edible products, by-products, and turkey lines
- Deliver agreed sales budgets, margin targets, and volume forecasts
- Manage and develop existing B2B customer accounts
- Lead pricing strategy, cost management, and commercial negotiations
- Manage customer relationships, complaints, and after-sales service
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and commercial analysis (advanced Excel required)
You are an experienced commercial professional with a background in export sales within food, FMCG, or logistics. You are commercially astute, resilient, and confident managing large-volume, high-value accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven commercial or account management experience within poultry or food manufacturing, FMCG, Logistics or similar
- Strong understanding of export sales and B2B trading environments
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
- Additional languages advantageous
- Full UK driving licence required
