The predicted salary is between 10 - 15 £ per hour.

We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Quality System Monitor to join our technical team in Willand, Devon. We have vacancies on a number of shift patterns:

  • Shift option 1 - 5:30am - 2:30pm (Monday to Friday with an early finish of 1:30pm on Tuesday)
  • Shift option 2 - 5am - 3:15pm (3 weekly rotating shift pattern)
  • Shift option 3 - 3:30pm - 0:00am (Monday to Friday)

The rate of pay is: £12.56 per hour

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems across the factory to ensure continuous operational and technical integrity.
  • Identify and report any areas of non-conformity, ensuring affected food products are quarantined appropriately and only released once compliance is confirmed.
  • Conduct label and traceability verification checks to ensure accuracy and full product compliance with legal and customer standards.
  • Monitor and record product temperatures as part of routine quality assurance procedures.
  • Verify scales and weights to maintain consistency with both regulatory standards and customer specifications.
  • Perform regular metal detection verification to uphold product safety and prevent contamination.
  • Carry out quality control checks to ensure finished products meet both customer requirements and internal quality benchmarks.
  • Provide support for additional verification and compliance activities across all stages of production and packaging, as required.
