We currently have permanent opportunities for Production Operatives to join our team in Willand, Devon.
- We have a number of shift patterns available on the AM and PM shift
- The hours of work are (depending on the role):
04:45 – 15:00 (3 week rotating pattern) OR
5am – 3:15pm (3 week rotating pattern) OR
5:30am – 2:30pm (Monday to Friday) OR
3:30pm – Midnight (Monday to Friday) OR
3:15pm – 11:45pm (Monday to Friday)
Main Responsibilities:
We have a number of opportunities available in our factory in Willand. With some starting pay rates at £13.56 per hour, this is a great time to join us!
You could be joining our Primary department which includes the following duties:
- De feathering and intestine removal
- Training as back up slaughter
- Ensuring compliance of bird welfare standards at all times
The starting pay rate for this role is £13.56 with the opportunity to earn £14.08 after training!
Alternatively, you could join our Portions or Wholebirds team which includes the following duties:
- Process and pack food products for top retails customers
- Handling raw chicken such as the breast or thigh or trussing the whole birds
Starting pay rates are from £12.21 – £12.56 with the opportunity to earn £13.24 after training!
Ideal Candidate:
As our ideal candidate, you will:
- Have good attention to detail
- Be a good communicator with a minimum level of spoken English
- Be flexible in your approach to work
- Have a commitment to bird welfare
- Have a passion for delivering high standards
- Able to follow Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
Previous experience in a factory would be an advantage but it is not essential as full training will be given including L1 and L2 Health and Safety certification.
