We currently have permanent opportunities for a Machine Setter to join our Technical teams in Willand, Devon.

Responsibilities

  • This post is working Days
  • The hours of work are: 05:30am - 14:30pm (Tuesday 13:30pm)
  • The shift pattern is: Monday - Friday
  • The rate of pay is £15.06 per hour
  • Undertake daily checks on sealing equipment and Bizerbas
  • Ensure good startups in sealing departments
  • Grease all machinery in sealing room (portions and av - including conveyors) and heat tunnel chains
  • Replace printheads, drive belts, motors, bearings and adjustment of Bizerbas
  • Carry out Proseal tooling checks and reconditioning, belts, bearings and bushes replacement
  • Adjust Proseal programs for best efficiency
  • Carry out fault finding and programs basic adjustment on Metal detectors
  • Secondary request sheets relevant to skill level, basic fabrication when required
  • Problem solve for OCM and printers
  • Support with projects and new line installation
  • Keep an up-to-date list of machinery, tooling sets etc. and any relevant issues
