Main Responsibilities
The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklift trucks to move, load, unload, and stack goods and materials. The role contributes to ensuring production and distribution are supported effectively, stock is handled accurately, and health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Ideal Candidate
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Load, unload, move, and store goods in the correct storage areas
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements using the company’s stock control systems
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report defects immediately
- Support production and dispatch by supplying materials in a timely manner
- Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times
- Follow company H&S guidelines and accident reporting procedures
- Report any H&S issues or hazards immediately
- Maintain awareness of the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS) and contribute to its objectives

Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications

- Basic IT or stock control system knowledge desirable
