Role Overview
Join a dynamic and dedicated Multidisciplinary Clinical Services Team, where your expertise in speech and language therapy will make a significant impact on the lives of children and young people. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals, including Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, and Creative/Talking Therapists, in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality assessments and interventions to address communication needs.
- Develop and implement therapeutic plans in line with EHCP requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to staff, parents, and carers.
- Engage creatively with children and young people, adapting methods to suit individual needs.
- Ensure all interventions are evidence-based and child-centred.
- Participate in service and practice development.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare high-quality reports.
Skills and Experience Required
- Recognised qualification for HCPC membership.
- Experience working with developmental trauma, neurodiversity, and Special Educational Needs.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in schools and/or care homes is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
