Job Role: Front-End Game Developer Location: Brighton 1X2 Network , the industry-acclaimed Slot Supplier of the Year (EGR Awards 2021), is looking for a talented Front-End Game Developer to join our growing team of passionate creatives and developers. The role is based in our Brighton office, where you’ll work closely with the team in a collaborative studio environment. About 1X2 Network 1X2 has pioneered virtual gaming products since 2002 and is now at the forefront of game development, with over 150 titles including Virtual Sports, Table Games, Slots, Instant Win, and soon, Multiplayer games in the iGaming industry. The company boasts a wide range of household-name clients (over 250 to be precise), including Bet365, BetVictor, and Entain (Ladbrokes, Coral, Bwin, etc.). Several brands form the 1X2 Network, each targeting specific market niches. The Position This is a hands-on, creative, and technical role suited for a developer with proven experience in building slot games and interactive HTML5 content using PixiJS and/or Phaser.js within the iGaming industry. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality HTML5 slot and casino games using PixiJS and/or Phaser.js. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. Enhance and extend our award-winning codebasewith new features, animations, and game mechanics. Maintain and troubleshoot existing games (including EGR’s Game of the Year 2020 , Branded Megaways ). Work closely with Game Designers , Artists , and Mathematicians to deliver polished, engaging slot experiences. Ensure performance optimisation across devices and browsers. Follow best practices for version control (Git/Bitbucket) and code documentation. Collaborate in an Agile development environment and contribute ideas during design and sprint planning sessions. Guarantee compliance with industry standards and technical certification requirements. Manage multiplegame variations and configurations to meet partnerand market demands.
