1X2 Network, the multi-award winning iGaming supplier, is looking for a talented Mid-Level Java Developer to join our dynamic team. This is an opportunity to join a highly creative, rapidly expanding independent software company.

1X2 Network has pioneered iGaming development for over 2 decades and now encompasses a number of game development studio subsidiaries. We supply a broad array of over 750 games to Casino operators worldwide. Our team at 1X2 develops and distributes games to thousands of online casinos around the world, including a wide range of household brands such as William Hill and BetVictor, alongside the iGaming industry's largest content aggregators Entain, Games Global and Bet Construct. 1X2 HQ is based in Brighton UK, with further office locations in Shenfield, Hyderabad and Malta; as well as remote employees around the world.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications.
- Contributing to the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment and beyond.
- Developing and maintaining high-quality Java applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Participating in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Proficiency in Java SE (Standard Edition) and Java EE (Enterprise Edition).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with SQL and databases such as MySQL.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
