We supply a broad array of over 750 games to Casino operators worldwide. Across its studios, 1X2 produces a variety of games, including slots, table games, virtual sports and non-traditional gaming experiences. Our team at 1X2 develops and distributes games to thousands of online casinos around the world, including a wide range of household brands such as William Hill and BetVictor, alongside the iGaming industry's largest content aggregators Entain, Games Global and Bet Construct. 1X2 HQ is based in Brighton UK, with further office locations in Shenfield, Hyderabad and Malta, as well as remote employees around the world.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications.
- Contributing to the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment and beyond.
- Developing and maintaining high-quality Java applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Participating in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Proficiency in Java SE (Standard Edition) and Java EE (Enterprise Edition).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with SQL and databases such as MySQL.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React.
