Overview
1X2 Network, the multi-award-winning iGaming supplier, is looking for an Animator. Reporting directly to the Technical Artist, this is an opportunity to join a highly creative, rapidly expanding independent software company.

1X2 has pioneered Virtual Gaming products since 2002 and are now at the forefront of game development with over 150 titles, including Virtual Sports, Table Games, Slots, Instant Win and shortly Multiplayer games in the iGaming industry. The company boasts a wide range of household name clients (over 250 to be precise) including Bet365, BetVictor and Entain (Ladbrokes, Coral, Bwin etc). Several brands construct the 1X2 Network, each business targeting specific market niches. The Position
We are seeking a talented Animator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the artistic vision of game production set out by the Product team and use the artwork provided by the Lead Artist and use 2D animation to bring artwork to life.
- Liaising with front end development team members and design teams
- Researching and developing technical tools for a project
- Setting up workflows of art production
- Supporting artists and programmers
- Assisting in asset performance and validation
- Developing and maintaining resources and pipelines along with programmers
- Porting finished art to the game engine
- Ensuring final art runs to full visual resolution
- Working within the limits of the game engine, curating file sizes
- Enforcing standards as outlined by heads of departments
- Preparing and designing character systems such as skeletons, cloths, effect emitters
- Optimising environments and establishing physics barriers
- Monitoring the performance of the game
- Resolving minor changes and technical issues with regards to animation, resizing and any other unforeseen changes to existing artwork and animation
- High attention to detail
- Solid understanding of art and animation pipelines
- Rendering and post-effects experience
- Understanding of rigging and animation
- Experience in physics simulations
- Creative mindset and ability to overcome technical challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with differences between creative and technical teams
