We are working with an award-winning architecture client based in central Winchester. They are looking for an organised, proactive and friendly Office Manager to join their team. It's a hands-on role, helping the office run smoothly on a day-to-day basis, supporting people, systems and processes to keep the office moving forward. You will work closely with the directors and the wider team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day organisation of the office. The role is varied and practical, supporting with studio management, building & facilities coordination, meeting and event support, and people administration.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Managing the smooth running of the studio day to day
- Being a key point of contact for visitors, suppliers and consultants
- Coordinating office supplies, kitchen supplies, printing, post and deliveries
- Preparing for client meetings, events, presentations and CPDs
- Organising internal meetings, team events, staff socials and the annual office trip
- Maintaining the materials library and sample room so it remains organised, current and useful
- Identifying opportunities to improve office systems and ways of working
- Coordinating invoicing and financial information with our outsourced finance team, including expenses, supplier information and payroll updates where needed
- Supporting with recruitment, interviews and onboarding
- Maintaining HR records, holiday records, team information and company handbooks
- Being a first point of contact for general HR admin queries
We are looking for a highly organised and practical individual with a proactive attitude. This role would suit someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy studio, likes making things run seamlessly, and wants to play an active part in supporting the business grow.
