We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Officer to oversee the implementation and maintenance of health and safety protocols across our manufacturing client.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to workplace safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to conduct thorough inspections and risk assessments.
As a vital member of our team, you will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, promote a safety-conscious culture, and respond effectively to incidents to safeguard the well-being of all employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Updating company risk and the training records
- Monitoring staff to make sure the correct PPE is being worn at all times
- Inductions for new staffs
- Weekly health and safety audits
- Weekly fire and sprinkler testing
- Ordering wash room commodities
- Arranging yearly pat testing, fire extinguisher service
- Arranging health and safety monthly meetings with company supervisors
- Monitoring the factory
