1to1 Group have an opportunity for a caretaker/ maintenance assistant to join a fantastic organisation on the outskirts of Winchester.
There is a possibility that for the right person this could become a permanent position.
The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced Child DBS.
Day to day responsibilities
- Grounds maintenance (litter, sweeping leaves, clearing gullies and grates)
- Refuse collection
- Maintenance works
- Porterage (help set up events, set up and test AV equipment, rearrange furniture and deliveries)
- Act as first aider and fire warden when required
- Carry out locking and unlocking of buildings
- Carry out day to day security and ID checks on visitors
Required skills, experience in attributes
- Willingness to attain first aid and security qualifications
- Experience in a similar position is essential (caretaker, security, maintenance)
- Must hold drivers licence
- Must be physically fit to lift parcels, furniture etc
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Be punctual and trustworthy
- Ability to work as part of a team
