1to1 Group are working with a well-established charity in Fareham that provides vital support to vulnerable people across the South of England. We are seeking a Lead HR Advisor with strong employee relations expertise and day-to-day people management.

About the role

As Lead HR Advisor, you'll work closely with the HR Manager to deliver efficient HR operations and support strategic people initiatives. You'll be the senior point of contact for day-to-day HR queries and will manage a small team, ensuring high quality, consistent HR support across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • To advise managers on all human resources matters
  • Employee relations to manage complex staff relations casework, such as grievances, disciplinaries and long-term absences, liaising with their legal representatives as required, especially when there is a potential high risk and impact to the organisation.
  • Responsible for managing members of the team (3) and being the senior expert under the human resources manager, within the team for day-to-day operational queries.
  • Coaching guiding managers through the organisations policies, practices and processes, and support on the delivery of managers briefings.
  • To contribute and lead where necessary in ensuring the welfare and wellbeing of all staff and advise staff and managers as appropriate.
  • To identify process improvements to help the team deliver human resources and wider objectives to ensure efficient and effective human resources delivery.
  • Engagement with internal and external contacts and organisations, not only within the human resources field, to network, and can knowledge share and best practice.

Skills & Experience:

  • Broad HR experience, and experience managing and reporting HR KPIs , metrics and insights.
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent qualification through experience.
  • At least 5 years experience across all aspects of human resources.
  • Experience of line managing others, ideally in a human resources team.
  • Confident using different HR systems ideally and competent with IT tools
  • Highly organised
