We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic IT Manager to join our client.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in managing complex IT infrastructures, ensuring robust security protocols, and driving technological innovation to support organisational objectives.
As an IT Manager, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, providing leadership to technical teams and ensuring seamless operations across all digital platforms with a primary focus on Microsoft Business Central platform.
Duties
- Provide day-to-day IT support and technical assistance to users across the business.
- Act as a key point of contact for core business systems, applications and IT queries.
- Troubleshoot system, hardware, software and connectivity issues to minimise disruption.
- Support system implementations, testing, rollouts, training and post-implementation activities.
- Work with users to understand processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Liaise with internal IT teams and external suppliers to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
- Support onsite infrastructure, networking, devices, printing and other technical equipment.
- Assist with system administration, reporting, data quality and maintaining accurate information.
- Contribute to IT projects, automation initiatives and improvements to operational efficiency.
- Promote effective, safe and compliant working practices while supporting wider business needs.
Requirements
- Strong experience supporting and managing core business applications and systems.
- Previous experience in an IT leadership or management position.
- Experience supporting IT within operational, warehouse or logistics environments.
- Broad technical knowledge across Microsoft 365, Windows, mobile devices and networking.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across a range of IT issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
- Confident explaining technical issues and solutions to non-technical users.
- Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong focus on customer service, user support and delivering effective solutions.
- Experience with requirements gathering, process improvement, automation and digital projects.
