As a Driver Debriefer, you will be a crucial part of our operations team, ensuring drivers are briefed and debriefed efficiently, compliance is maintained, and our transport processes run smoothly. You'll work closely with drivers, planners, and fleet managers to keep our logistics on track. This is a brilliant opportunity for a lead driver who wants to now be in the office!
Key Responsibilities:- Brief and debrief drivers at the start and end of their shifts.
- Ensure temperature compliance by reviewing journey ticket printouts.
- Collate fuel usage and wage information for reporting.
- Handle operational telephone calls and liaise with trunk drivers for ETA updates.
- Ensure routes are finalised using Polar Track (in-house system).
- Download and manage driver digital tachograph cards via the Trutac system.
- Conduct spot checks on vehicles and report defects.
- Oversee correct scanning and storage of returns and collections.
- Assist with depot administration when required.
- Experience in a transport/logistics environment.
- Knowledge of Tachograph Legislation and compliance.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills to liaise with drivers, planners, and management.
- Familiarity with Trutac, or similar transport systems (preferred).
