We’re working on behalf of a growing MSP that prides itself on delivering fast, dependable, and personable service to clients across the UK, 24/7, 365 days a year. This role is perfect if you’re a Field Engineer with strong service desk experience and a knack for solving technical issues. You’ll thrive in a role that combines travel, hands-on installation, and remote support, with opportunities to expand your skills and grow within the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Carrying out IT and WiFi installations for new and existing customers
- Assisting in pre-configuration of equipment and supporting the design and implementation of new IT, network, and WiFi solutions
- Performing wireless surveys using the latest tools and software
- Providing remote and telephone-based support for a wide range of IT issues, including the Microsoft 365 stack, WiFi, and telecoms
- Resolving cases efficiently—prioritising, escalating, and keeping customers updated
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation and contributing to project paperwork
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure top-quality service for customers
- A strong background in IT support, ideally within an MSP environment
- Experience on the service desk Microsoft 365 Suite, Azure, Active Directory
- Experience supporting Windows Server (DC, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
- Exposure to WiFi technologies (Cisco, Ruckus; Aruba experience is a bonus)
- Knowledge of PBX systems (Mitel, NEC, Gamma Horizon, 3CX) and telecoms fundamentals
- Familiarity with ISDN, PSTN, SIP services, and analogue terminations
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Relevant qualifications (Windows MCP, MCSA, Cisco ICND1) are a plus, but not essential
