We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support a growing finance team in a busy and fast-paced environment. This role will involve invoice processing, reconciliations, month-end support, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices and journals
  • Prepare accruals and prepayments
  • Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support month-end processes
  • Investigate invoice queries and discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate finance records and documentation
  • Assist with VAT and overhead reporting

Requirements

  • Previous Accounts Assistant or finance experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Navision or Business Central preferred
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively
