Responsibilities
- The preparation of sales vehicles to an exceptional standard, including receiving the vehicle upon arrival, diagnosing any existing issues, conducting road tests, identifying necessary repairs, executing those repairs, coordinating with parts suppliers to procure required components, and performing a final pre-delivery inspection to ensure the vehicle is ready for sale.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
- Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and manual methods, providing accurate assessments of required repairs.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to enhance skills and knowledge.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is essential.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
