Summary

We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as one of our Deputy managers who will also be room based as a room leader. A maternity cover room leader post is also available. These roles are vital in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality care and education to young children while fostering a positive environment for staff and families.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the leadership and management in daily nursery operations, ensuring high standards of care and education.
  • Support and supervise nursery staff, promoting professional development.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and health & safety regulations.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of nursery practices.
  • Assist in managing administrative tasks related to staffing and resources.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing or leading within a childcare or nursery setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
  • Valid childcare or management qualifications (preferred).
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Driving license (desirable but not essential).
